We’re 16 days into blogtober and it’s occured to me that I should try to use my camera for my vlogs. I’ve been using my cell phone which is super great and convenient but, what did I spend $800 on a camera for in 2021 if I wasn’t going to use it?
So, today I decided to try my hand at actually vlogging and the biggest obstacle was battery life. The life on these things kind of suck. Top that off with the fact I couldn’t find the charger and my videos were kind of sparse today. The good news is that I actually love using the camera because there’s a view finder and I can always make sure I’m in frame.
Something else that occured to me was that I don’t have to stress myself out about making my blog and my youtube looking good THIS MONTH! I can focus on going back and making things better when we hit November and I’m not blogging or videoing everyday.
As far as my day went I finally did it! I made dinner rolls and I am so happy about that because I’ve been wanting start trying my hand at them again. Last year at Thanksgiving I absolutely made the worse dinner rolls. It was hard getting my yeast to rise at the old house but, I’ve been very successful with yeast over here. My only qualm about my dinner rolls today was that they were a little dense but, they were still delicious.
It was an overall good day today! I didn’t sit around my house all day and feel into deep depressive sleeps (lol) so I’m happy about that. I didn’t get a lot done but I didn’t cry too much and that’s a win. Plus, my nieces mattress came. I’m so excited to get a space prepared for her. I truly pray to God that I get guardianship over her. If not, I’ll likely not be very happy about that. But, I have a lot of hope things will work in my favor.
